Reed Start-Up Lab for every Reedie: Join the Simulation, Enjoy the Learning

26 Jan

Last night at MIT I had the opportunity to speak briefly with Brad Feld, Foundry Group VC and serial entrepreneur. (Foundry is an investor in Urban Airship, by the way). He had some good advice for Reedies interested in Reed Start-Up Lab: Remember, it is about the learning. Start-Up Lab is basically a weekend-long simulation of what the early days of starting a company might look like. It’s a chance to try that experience hands on.

You can come and pitch idea even if you don’t intend to start a company right now. But, you don’t need an idea to attend, just come and join a group.

If you are already working on start-up or know you intend to make your idea into a company, that’s awesome. We’ll help take you as far as you can go in the weekend and our Entrepreneurs-in-Residence will also help you think about next steps to keep going after the Lab.

Sign-up or show-up and we’ll see you Start-Up next Friday!
